Rains and storms are expected today in several regions of Greece, according to Open meteorologist, Clearchos Marousakis. Specifically, rainfall will occur from the Pindos mountain range and west, i.e. in the Northern Ionian, Corfu, Epirus, Western Peloponnese and Western Mainland.
In the rest of Greece, the weather will be almost spring-like. There will be some scattered clouds, but no rain is expected. In Attica and Thessaloniki, the weather will be good, with some clouds and the temperature reaching 26-27 degrees Celsius.
The weather scenario will be similar tomorrow Thursday (2/11), with rain again in the west, Macedonia, Thrace and eastern Aegean. On Thursday, the “action” of the type P bad weather that brings the phenomena is expected to end, while from Friday the weather will improve.

After the night storms that occurred in the Ionian for the rest of today, few rains mainly in the eastern Aegean.
On Thursday, local rains are expected in the west, north and east of the Aegean and of course southerlies. According to the EMY, local rains in the west, eastern Macedonia, Thrace and in places in the Aegean islands. Sporadic storms will occur in the morning hours in the west. Visibility will be locally limited in the east during the morning hours.
Winds in most areas will blow from south directions 3 to 5 and in the Aegean temporarily local 6 Beaufort. The temperature will drop slightly in the west and north and will not exceed 24 to 25 degrees, while in the rest of the regions it will reach 26 to 27 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
- Weather: Sparse clouds denser in places with a few sporadic rains mainly in eastern Macedonia and Thrace. Increasing clouds from the late afternoon and from the west.
- Winds: Variable 2 to 4 and in the east in the morning southeast 4 to 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 11 to 25 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia it will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Temporarily increased cloudiness with local rains mainly in the morning hours, when sporadic storms will occur which will quickly stop even from the north.
- A further increase in cloud is expected from the late afternoon and from the north and by night there will be local rain again in the northernmost parts.
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the morning hours in the Ionian from west directions 4 to 5 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 13 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
- Weather: Sparse clouds in places and denser at times.
- Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the morning hours in the south southwest 5 or 6 Beaufort.
- Temperature: From 13 to 27 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
- Weather: Sparse clouds in places and occasionally thicker with a few local rains.

- In the evening hours in the western and northern continental regions, visibility will be locally limited.
- The winds will blow southwesterly 3 to 5 Beaufort and in the southern Aegean locally 6 Beaufort.
- The temperature will not change appreciably. It will reach 23 to 25 in the north and 26 and locally 27 degrees Celsius in the rest of the country.

- A gradual worsening of the weather is expected in the northwest from late evening with showers and sporadic thunderstorms.

- Winds will blow from south directions 4 to 6 and from the afternoon in the seas locally up to 7 Beaufort.
- The temperature will rise slightly.

- Increased clouds with rain and sporadic thunderstorms are forecast for almost the entire country. The effects, which are likely to be locally strong, will initially manifest themselves in the northwest, but will quickly spread to all the western and central and northern continents and from the noon hours will gradually affect the rest of the country. From late in the evening, the intense phenomena are expected to be limited to the Aegean and Thrace.
- Winds will blow from south directions 5 to 6 and in the Aegean locally 7 to 8 Beaufort. From midday in the Ionian and the western continents and from the afternoon in the rest of the continents, except for Thrace, the winds will turn to the west.
- The temperature will drop in the Ionian and the continental up to 4 degrees Celsius in terms of its maximum values.

- In the Aegean and Thrace, clouds with rain and sporadic storms, possibly locally strong, are forecast until the morning hours. Soon in most areas the weather will become generally clear and only in the Dodecanese there will be local rain until the afternoon.
- In the west, a few locally increased clouds are expected from the midday hours, so there will be a few rains and in the northwest, isolated storms are possible.
- In the rest of the country, generally clear weather with temporary local clouds.
- In the continental morning hours, visibility will be locally limited.
- The winds will blow west southwest 4 to 6 Beaufort and in the morning hours in the eastern parts of the Aegean south with the same intensity.
