“Forest Protection in the Fundamental Legal Framework of the Country” is the topic of the event organized by the Department of Forestry and Natural Environment of AUTH, on the occasion of the celebration of World Forest Day, on Tuesday 21 March 2023 at 9.30, in the Ceremony Hall of AUTH.
The Rector of AUTH, Professor Nikolaos G. Papaioannou, the Dean of the School of Agriculture, Forestry and Natural Environment of AUTH, Professor Apostolos Apostolidis, and representatives of public and professional bodies will welcome the event.
The main speaker of the event, Professor of the Faculty of Law of AUTH Konstantinos Gogos, will develop the topic “The protection of the Forest in the Greek Constitution”.
Mr. Konstantinos Gogos has a rich written work and numerous published studies on administrative, administrative procedural, administrative economic, civil service, union and environmental law, spatial planning and urban planning law. He teaches administrative law, administrative procedure and environmental, spatial and urban planning law. He has been a scientific associate of the Center for International and European Economic Law, a visiting researcher at the Law Schools of the University of Heidelberg and the Free University of Berlin and a visiting professor at the summer session of the Baltic Federal University in Kaliningrad. He is a member of the scientific society “Law and Nature” and of the Board of the scientific society of Law of Town Planning and Spatial Planning. From 2022 he serves as a member of the Supreme Special Court.
