Tragedy occurred at noon on Sunday, in a maisonette in Paleo Faliro, with the 16-year-old who shot himself inside his house, finally losing the battle for life.
At approximately 2 in the afternoon on Sunday, 112 received a call from the 16-year-old who announced that he was ready to kill himself. Then the line was closed while calls from 100 were not answered by the young man.

Paleo Faliro: a 16-year-old shot himself in the head with his father’s gun
The mobilization of the EL.AS, the Fire Brigade, and the EKAV was immediate. As soon as they entered the maisonette, at 38 Pelopos Street, in Paleo Faliro, they found the 16-year-old with a head wound from a 9-gauge firearm.
EKAB took him to Evangelismos hospital where he was pronounced dead. According to information, the 16-year-old had used the 9-gauge gun legally owned by his father.
According to information, the 16-year-old’s father was allegedly the one who opened the door for the police, while he was on the ground floor of the maisonette.
