Super League 1 will be represented at the 2022 World Cup, with 13 footballers competing in the Greek league playing in Qatar.
The Super League 1 team with the most players at the 2022 World Cup is AEK. Matias Almeida’s team will be represented by five footballers in the stadiums of Qatar.
First and best is Domagoi Vida. The experienced Croatian stopper will compete in another World Cup with Croatia and will try to repeat the feat of 2018, when he reached the final with the Croatians.
Orbelin Pineda will also be in Qatar with Mexico. The 26-year-old Mexican midfielder of AEK will compete in the World Cup for the first time. Damian Szymanski will also make his maiden appearance in a world championship with Poland.

The last four Super League 1 players who will compete in the 2022 World Cup are playing for PAOK, Ari, Atromito and Panaitoliko.
