The festivities for the patrons of our Air Force begin – The top Greek fighters will fly in the Attic sky.
Passages of an F-16 fighter jet and a Rafaleabove the area of Tatoi, as part of a test flight for the celebration of the Patron Saint of PA, on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, will take place today, Thursday, November 3 at 12:00 noon.
In the context of the celebration of Brigadier Generals Michael and Gabriel who protect our Air Force, the General Staff of the Air Force has planned a number of events throughout Greece, with the aim of making citizens aware of the great work of the Air Force, the function performed by the “hawks » of HAF and ground staff.

Events
During the celebration of the Patron Saint of the Air Force, Archangel Michael, from Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 November 2022, the following events will take place:
Friday 4 to Tuesday 8 November 2022
- Aircraft replacements to enrich the static displays of the Units
- Static and photographic exhibitions in the Units
- Events of Air Sports Associations and Aeromodelling at Air Bases.
- Voluntary blood donation
- Educational visits from Primary Schools, Middle Schools and High Schools to PA Units
- Presentation at the Syntagma Metro Station area of 2 F-16 fighter flight simulators built by the PA at the Air Tactics Center, as well as a flight simulation of Rafale, F-4E, M2000-5 and F-16 aircraft through virtual reality ( virtual reality), air shows and static modelling
- Charitable actions in charitable institutions
- From November 4 to 6, 2022, Students of the General High Schools of Tycheros, Nea Vyssa and Feros of the Prefecture of Evros, will be transferred free of charge from the State Airport of Alexandroupolis to the International Airport of Athens, by an aircraft of the airline “Sky Express”, while students of High School/High School Megistis Dodecanese classes will be transferred free of charge from the Municipal Airport of Kastelorizos by an aircraft of the airline company “Aegean Airlines”. The students will be accommodated in the facilities of KEDA Zuberi and will attend a series of events as part of the Celebration.

The Air Force Bases will be open to the public on the following days and times:
- From Friday 4 to Monday 7 November 2022, from 09:00 to 17:00
- On Tuesday 8 November 2022, from 14:00 to 17:00
The program of events may be modified according to the current measures to prevent the transmission of the COVID-19 infection and according to the health maps of each region.
