The local community of Naxos, the journalistic world and those who knew him are shocked Yannis Fakinos (Barberakis).
The son of the well-known island singer Manolis Barberakis passed away suddenly at the age of 60, betrayed by his heart. For more than 35 years he served journalism working in media and ministries.
He was a graduate of the School of Journalism, Communication and Public Relations, taught in schools of Journalism and Communication and had been in charge of an office of the Ministry of Labor and Social Insurance for 20 years.
Also it was political editor on nationwide channels and radio stations.
The funeral service will take place on Thursday, at 14:00, at the First Cemetery of Athens.
