For a possible meeting of Recep Tayyip Erdogan by Kyriakos Mitsotakis in Prague at the beginning of October, the representative of the Turkish president spoke tonight Ibrahim Kalin.
In an interview he gave to NTV, the representative of the Turkish presidency, however, claimed that the planning of a meeting between Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Kyriakos Mitsotakis… depends on the Greek prime minister.
“I don’t know if there will be a meeting in Prague on October 6-7. It depends on the steps taken by the Greek side. At the moment there are no scheduled meetings with Mitsotakis,” Kalin said.
“Our president does not exclude anyone. If one step is taken, our president takes two steps” added the representative of the Turkish presidency.
It is recalled that Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis in his statements to the Council on Foreign Relations in the US, referring to the “Mitsotakis joke” that the Turkish president recently said, he emphasized that he is “always open to solving problems through dialogue”.
“Mr. Erdogan does not want to talk to me. I’ve heard it before and we ended up talking. I will continue to insist that there is only one framework of rules for dispute resolution, international law and international maritime law. But it does not solve the differences with aggressive behavior and the restoration of imperial fantasies, but also with incendiary rhetoric,” the Greek prime minister specifically said.
