A new voucher of up to 300 euros for holidays is coming, when are the applications due?

On Monday, September 26, applications will be opened for the last time at vouchers.gov.gr for holidays in Samos and North Evia with the North Evia – Samos Pass.

After the announcement of the results of Tourism for All, vouchers.gov.gr opens in a few days, specifically on Monday, September 26, for applications for the fourth and final phase of the program. The platform will open around 12:00 p.m. like every other time, and because a record number of participants is expected again, those interested should log in immediately and apply, as the vouchers will be snapped up in a few minutes.

And this time it is expected that 2,679 €150 cards will be issued for North Evia and 1,169 €300 cards for Samos, while you should be careful because the immaterial digital card of the 4th Phase (October) can be used until 31/10/2022 .

The beneficiaries

Beneficiaries are all adult natural persons, single or married or widowed or persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement, who are tax residents of Greece, based on the personal income tax return for the tax year 2020. Especially for married persons or persons who have entered into a cohabitation agreement, the beneficiary is the person liable to submit the income tax return.

Who is not eligible to participate in the action?

Those selected as:

Beneficiaries – beneficiaries within the Social Tourism program of the 2021-2022 period of the Labor Force Employment Agency, regardless of whether they used the provision or not.

Beneficiaries – beneficiaries of the Social Tourism program of D.Y.P.A. 2022 as well as the action “Tourism for all” of the Ministry of Tourism, pursuant to article 45 of Law 4933/2022 (A’ 99).

Beneficiaries – beneficiaries of related provision from any other body for the same period of time.

How do I issue the immaterial digital debit card for the North Evia-Samos Pass?

Through the special application and once the application has been submitted and approved, you are entitled to the issuance of an immaterial digital debit card, to which the corresponding amount is credited. After the immaterial digital debit card is issued, the Payment Service Provider informs you of the procedure you must follow, to activate the card and credit the amount of money, by sending:

a) text message (sms) to the mobile phone number you have registered in the special application, with integrated instructions for activating the immaterial digital debit card and

b) e-mail message (e-mail) to the e-mail address you have registered in the special application, with an embedded link to activate the immaterial digital debit card.

After entering the above link, you create a personal access code (password) and receive a confirmation code, with a new text message (sms), in order to activate the immaterial digital debit card.

Where can I use the card?

The North Evia-Samos Pass can be used for purchases in businesses in the regions of North Evia and Samos (depending on the destination chosen by the beneficiary) and covers the costs of local transport, accommodation and dining in the eligible areas. Its use may refer to one or more payments, for part or all of the amount for the product or service you wish to obtain.

The statistics of the previous phases

With the figures so far, during the first three phases of the North Evia – Samos Pass cumulatively more than 4.06 million euros have been allocated.

Specifically:

• for North Evia, 17,348 cards have been stored in the beneficiaries’ digital wallets and 14,408 have been charged at least one transaction

• for Samos, 8,954 cards have been added to the beneficiaries’ digital wallets and 7,939 of them have been charged for at least one transaction.
