Two new incidents of domestic violence in Stalida and Heraklion mobilized the police authorities, on the evening of Thursday, September 22

There is no end to the incidents of domestic violence in Crete, as in the previous hours the police authorities made two more arrests in Heraklion.

The first incident happened in Stalis, between a couple of touristson the evening of Thursday, September 22. According to the complaint, a Polish couple in a hotel in Stalida where they are staying, started fighting for an unknown reason.

Then, according to the complaint, the 34-year-old attacked his 22-year-old partner, hitting her with his hands and feet. The girl was taken to the hospital for first aid, while the 34-year-old man was arrested for domestic violence.

He came home drunk and beat her

At the same time, in the area of ​​Heraklion, a 43-year-old woman complained that her husband came home after consuming alcohol on Thursday night and started beating her. The woman was taken to the hospital, where doctors treated her injuries.

The 42-year-old man was arrested and charged with domestic violence.
