A video document has come to light from the bloody shootout on Tuesday afternoon on Lagada Street, at the height of Neapolis, Thessaloniki.

At approximately 18:00 on Tuesday evening, a red car stops on Lagada Street at the height of Agia Paraskevi. The passenger of the vehicle gets out to shop at a nearby store.

Getting out, he is standing outside the car chatting with the driver when a group of three young men move towards him. When he notices them he starts running, with the people chasing him and hitting him.

The driver of the vehicle, seeing the three people hitting his passenger, got out of the car and – according to what became known – shot and injured a 25-year-old man of Georgian origin in the leg. The two men then return to the car and drive away.

The 25-year-old injured man was found a little later on Konstantinou Karamanli Street and was taken to the hospital by ambulance, while the other two young people ran away.

The causes of the incident are being investigated by the police who are looking for the person who shot and his passenger, as well as the two youths who participated in the incident.
