An information day on renewable energy sources is co-organized next Monday by the newspaper “Eleftheria” and the TV channel TRT, under the auspices of the Region of Thessaly. The conference will start at 9.30 in the morning at Larissa Imperial, in the presence of the Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Konstantinos Skrekas, while suggestions will be made during the three-hour process by the Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, Mr. Christos Triantopoulos, the Deputy Minister of Environment, Mr. Giorgos Amyras, the g.c. of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ms. Alexandra Sdoukou, the regional governor of Thessaly, Mr. Kostas Agorastos, the president of KEDE, Mr. Dimitris Papastergiou, university professors, etc.
In detail, the program of the conference, which has as its theme “Renewable power plants – Development and prospects in a changing energy environment” will start from 09:30 to 10:00 with registration.
* 10:00 – 11:00: 1st SESSION: Report on the progress of RES in Greece and future development plan, report on RES in the last 3 years, future plans for RES development and Strategic planning, Photovoltaic & Wind Parks, Energy Storage Projects, Offshore Wind Parks.
* 11:00 – 12:00: 2nd SESSION: Environmental parameters in the installation of Photovoltaic Stations and benefits of local communities from their operation,
Environmental footprint of Photovoltaic Plants, Best practices in the installation of Photovoltaic Plants, Case Study presentation, Environmental Benefits (comparison with alternative technologies such as PV, lignite and nuclear).
