THE Emma Heming Willis she adjusts to her new life and learns to live with grief.
THE husband of Bruce Willis after the actor was diagnosed with aphasia posted an edited video on Instagram showing how she spent this year’s, different, summer.
“This has been the summer of discovering myself, finding new hobbies, getting out of my comfort zone and staying active,” Emma captioned the post, which showed snippets of her daily life.
“Grief can paralyze me, but I’m learning how to live with it,” Emma continued in the caption.
“As my stepdaughter @scoutlaruewillis told me, grief is the deepest and purest form of love. I hope you find some comfort in that.” Emma made the post to mark National Grief Awareness Day, which is August 30 in the US.
Emma’s post comes months after the Willis family revealed Bruce was retiring from acting, a move Emma described as “a really difficult time for our family” in an Instagram announcement at the time.
