Trikala: She was received with… flour, which traditionally symbolizes everyone’s wish for the newlyweds to live
The musician Dimitris Harhandis and the singer Chrysa Houchorelou are getting married on Saturday, and on Thursday night they shared unique moments with friends and relatives in a traditional, pre-wedding, celebration in a village of Trikala.
Fun had ignited in the groom’s village, in Logga Kalambakas, as he himself, as a violin virtuoso, excited the guests with his music. As recorded by trikalavoice.gr, however, the fun took off when the bride, Chrysa Houchorelou, made a surprise appearance.
She was received with… flour, which traditionally symbolizes everyone’s wish for the newlyweds to live, grow old and whiten together. The two children in love continued with dances and songs, while in love they couldn’t let go of each other forcing the other artist, their fellow singer to shout from the microphone “hey, get off”!
