Sofia Vossou was a guest on the show “Studio 4” on Friday afternoon. The beloved singer spoke, among other things, about the serious adventure she went through with her health a few years ago.
“You’re dying,” the doctor told me, New Year’s Eve. My esophagus narrowed, we did an operation. At 7 days, while it went well, my stomach is perforating. We are doing a second surgery… The drainage was not closed, it caused a fistula,” said Sofia Vossou and added:
“I had reached 37 kg. I was put on a hormone to stop the fistula and my taste changed. Everything I ate was like salt. I couldn’t eat.”
“I had not hidden my health problem. On December 5, I went on social media to thank people for their birthday wishes, like a “corpse”, with my hat on, as usual. It was New Year’s Eve when the doctor asked me to go to Hippocrates to “put in a pouch” so I could eat. But I wanted to cook to set a table in my house. I will come the next day. I’m not dying yet, you’re all going to die, I’m not dying,” she told the Doctor, revealing that she had indeed set the table in her house for the time change.
