“I’m going to say something for the first time, you’re provoking me. My father was a purgatory, just like Kallianos’ father. He underwent two years of dialysis. One Sunday afternoon, I wasn’t divorced yet, he came home with the kids and we were playing and it was great. When he left the house, he told me to hold on a bit because I’m dizzy. He was fine though, he was healthy. He goes home to Colonos, and his brother picks me up telling me that ‘dad is not well’. I called an ambulance to go to the People’s Hospital. They had him in a room, I go in and take his hand and he says I’m in terrible pain here. I understood that he had a heart attack because due to hemodialysis, two days had passed, apparently he had eaten and drunk a little more, he had hyperkalemia. When potassium increases, a person is more likely to have a heart attack.
I shouted for 2 hours to the doctors, ‘guys, he’s had a heart attack, we have to put him in the cardiology unit’, they had him on the outside. Don’t say what was going on that day at the hospital, he was on call. People were passing by with blood, the bad destruction was happening. I did not say that I am Liagas, nor did I make a video and I will unmask you if you do not take him to the cardiology clinic”, said Giorgos Liagas.

“After two hours, when they take my father on the stretcher and I was holding his hand, he has a seizure. My father died the first time, I was holding his hand. It is an image that will never leave my mind. From that time and for 3-4 hours, all the hospital staff were over my father. That day my father died 3-4 times and came back. The third or fourth time, not knowing what kind of problem this whole story would have left in his brain, I went inside the intensive care unit while I was forbidden and whispered something in his ear.
Since then it has never returned. The doctors tried for a long time after that, I told them ‘let him go’. And left. The easiest thing would be to come out and say that I am Liagas, that I have power and they are late. I thought about it. That if he had been taken a quarter of an hour earlier to the cardiac unit or intensive care unit, he might have been saved. The easy thing would be to come out and blame the doctors. They are the same people who, while their service was over, were trying to bring him back to life. And in the hours they took, they might have saved 3-4 other human lives. It’s the first time I’ve said it, it’s personal. I don’t blame the man who does it and obviously medical errors have been made. Doctors are not gods and they make a lot of mistakes, but they are people who save lives. Sorry for telling you something personal,” added the presenter.
