Gentsoglou left, that’s the huge amount he collected

Savvas Gentsoglou is past Survivor. The former AEK football player decided to leave the survival reality show, due to his hand injury.

In yesterday’s (23/4) episode he announced his retirement to his teammates and said goodbye to the hut.

“I put a lot of time into my arm and the injury. It didn’t happen and it’s gotten worse. I have a torn ligament. I’m probably going to need surgery. So that’s it, I’m out.

I have a strange feeling. On the one hand I am happy to return to the little one and to my life, on the other hand I am leaving something very beautiful behind.

It was really a very nice trip. What’s left for me are only good times but also a bitterness about how things turned out.” said Savvas Gentsoglou.

The ex-footballer left the game having collected €135,000 as he stayed nine weeks and had agreed to be paid €9,000 per seven days.
