“I had two moms, our house was like a condominium”

On Tuesday (04/23), the well-known actress was a guest on the show “Kalytera Arga”. Joyce Eveidiwho talked about her childhood, the acting profession and how financially secure she was all these years.

“I’ve heard a lot about my voice, ‘compliments’, and from colleagues. I’m my mom’s voice, it’s the same. We used to make fun of her as children. Now it’s like I’ve swallowed my mom” the beloved actress initially said.

Referring to her childhood, Joyce Eveidi described that it was very beautiful and she does not remember anything dark, while she stated that she grew up with her mom and a very good friendin a house that was constantly crowded.

“I grew up in Nea Smyrni, in a single-family house. Our door always had the key from outside, our friends always came for coffee. I have told about a friend of my mom’s who was like my mom. I had two moms, I was very lucky in this life. My life was greatly expanded and different. We had many members in this family who were firm friends of my parents. It was like a commune. A lot of extroversion, a lot of partying. I only remember my childhood with laughter” he said.

“I don’t remember being left with anything sad. I don’t remember anything dark in my childhood. If someone like me is a fool to think that the bright side will always exist in life. It’s a deep complex, it’s not humor that I “underestimate” myself. As a child, I never got “good luck” and that’s why I tell my dogs. Fortunately, I had a fan club my dad who kept the same” write down.

About her dad, in fact, she said: “My dad once asked me about acting “can you do it well?” and I confidently told him “yes”. I was such a jerk back then. “This many years paying the bills from this job is a miracle. It’s dirty work! If I had a child, I wouldn’t want him to be an actor. It’s a very torturous job, I don’t recommend it” she said of her profession.

On her success and her roles, Joyce Eveidi: “I hadn’t done TV yet while I was working as a waitress! I was from the generation that was lucky when things opened up, nice jobs were done. Television was very romantic in the ’90s. I haven’t been well paid. I’m not one of those people who have made money or saved up. I’m crazy when I talk about finances! I wanted like crazy to have a manager. Usually on TV I was on crowded jobs where there couldn’t be big tapes. I’m not one to make money at all. I lived comfortably for a while but I didn’t make any money!“.

Finally, about the people who recognize her, Joyce Eveidi noted: “People are talking to people and a guy says to me “Hello Eveidi, you are getting old too”. He made me sad and I say to him “Luckily I didn’t die!”. The comment doesn’t bother me, it bothers me that I don’t have the same stamina. He has a lot of earnings in his old age.
