A year ago the grandson of Anestis Vlachos became a clergyman with the church name Augustinos and is now an Archimandrite, as he was ordained in New Philadelphia. Heraklis Vlachos, son of the late actor and father of Archimandrite, spoke on the show of Giorgos Liagas.

“It is a moment that cannot be easily described in words. For me personally and for the whole family. It is the most important moment after his birth and it is a parent’s happiness to see his child realize his dream and be devoted to what he has chosen,” he initially said.

When asked what advice he had given his son, Herakles Vlachos replied: “I wasn’t exactly giving him advice, I told him that everything will always be fine. Even in the difficult times, believe that this is temporary and everything will be fine in the end!”

He was in church from a young age, from the first grades of school, he attended a catechetical school. It is no surprise to me that he chose the path of the priesthood, I knew it would happen at some point,” Archimandrite’s father explained.
