“Times are tough, but people come to the store. “Many times my brother tells me not to come because people call and say they want to come, but first they ask if I’ll be here, and when he tells them I’m not there every day, they hang up without saying anything,” he initially said. “I count almost 50 years of career. I think that in Greece they have respected my artistic value a lot. I have no complaints. Apart from admiration, I gained respect from people. To be successful and to have my song heard is something that concerns me a lot to this day. It’s not about insecurity. When you enter the dance, you must dance. Me too, I’m not a fashion singer” said the beloved singer at another point.
“I ran a lot. I had no people to support me. Even now I am a fighter. And in my personal life, I made some openings, but they didn’t work out for me. I didn’t sacrifice anything from my personal life for my career. I fought things, breakups, one, the other, we’re done now, that’s enough. Now no more mistakes.
Today, I don’t feel alone at all. I used to be with people and feel alone. I would finish from the shop and walk the streets until dawn. I found myself. Now I’m not missing anything, I’m full. I don’t miss the camaraderie at all, I’ve gotten that out of my life… I’ve made money out of my career. I didn’t set out to get rich, as I could. But I am a person whose hands are holes, I am not stingy”, Katerina Stanisi also confessed.
“My mother is the most sacred thing I have and I take care of her. That’s why I also left my house and went to stay with her. It is difficult to stay with her, but she is slowly getting used to it, I feel that I am doing a good deed” he concluded.
