Scott Disick’s health is in a tragic state due to the dramatic weight loss with the use of Ozempic. In fact, the ex-husband of Kourtney Kardashian decided to ask for help by making his problem public.

The 40-year-old reality star, who has three children with Kardashian, caused concern when he was photographed very thin last month. His fans were concerned that his appearance was the result of an unspecified illness or drug use, but sources told DailyMail.com that he was using Ozempic in an attempt to shed excess weight.
Now, Disick has reportedly turned to a nutritionist to help him deal with his weight fluctuations following the public outcry his new look has caused.
“Scott admitted he had to stop taking Ozempic after seeing his pictures and the public outcry about his weight loss,” a source told DailyMail.com, adding: “He thought he looked good because he was thinner again, without realizing that this was not healthy. He is now working with a nutritionist to get back on track and not gain the weight he was before.”
Additionally, the source noted, “Scott has been incredibly attractive and fit throughout his life, and he’s not having his best moments accepting that age is catching up with him.”
Ozempic has been popularized by a number of celebrities, including Sharon Osbourne and Oprah Winfrey, who have used it for weight loss. This particular drug is a treatment for diabetes, but it became popular on social media for weight loss, causing domino problems in the health field.

Ozempic: The Kardashians made it… fashion!
The first time this topic came to the fore was when Kim Kardashian appeared at last year’s Met Gala, at least 8 kilos less, in order to fit into Marilyn Monroe’s dress. Sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner followed, visibly slimmed down, with Ozempic rumors swirling.
Celebrities such as actor John Goodman, singer Robbie Williams, Ozzy Osbourne’s 71-year-old wife Sharon and singer/actress Jessica Simpson have also been added to the drug’s following.
What is Ozempic?
Ozempic is indicated for the treatment of type II diabetes mellitus. It is not used in patients with type I diabetes. It is used alongside diet and exercise in cases of type II diabetes that are not satisfactorily controlled.
It can be given to patients who cannot take metformin or as an add-on to other diabetes medicines.
It contains the active substance semaglutide and aims to regulate blood sugar levels.
It is a prescription drug approved by the P.O.Y. in 2017.
This medicine belongs to the class of glucagon like peptide 1 (GLP-1 receptor) agonists.
Along with regulating blood sugar, Ozempic has been shown to reduce the risk of heart attack and stroke in people with type II diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
In the spring of 2023, a shortage of the specific drug was also observed in Greece.
