Angela Gerekou-Maria Voskopoulou: The elegant appearances of mother and daughter at Elisabetta Franchi’s show

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Olympic Games in Athens
in 2004 and their realization in the world’s fashion capital, the
Paris, this season Athens Fashion Week will honor the interconnected
relationship between fashion and sports.

The guest of honor at this year’s Athens Fashion Week was the famous Italian fashion designer Elissabetta Franchi, who presented her new collection to the Greek public for the first time on Saturday afternoon.

Angela Gerekou and her daughter, Maria Voskopoulou, attended Elisabetta Franchi’s fashion show, which took place at Zappeio Megaro.

Both were very elegantly dressed and sat in the front rows to enjoy the fashion show of the acclaimed designer – after all, mother and daughter have a weakness for fashion.

Angela Gerekou wore a very chic suit in a special ice gray, which she paired with matching pointed high heels and a leather bag, while wearing a white shirt under her jacket, which accentuated the classic aesthetic of her outfit. Angela Gerekou enriched her look with gold jewelry around her neck and gold hoops.

On the other hand, Maria Voskopoulou preferred a more modern and fresh look. Mixing casual and dressy elements, she paired wide-leg cargo jeans with a shiny top and black blazer on top. Maria Voskopoulou completed her look with high platform heels, while she layered around her neck with various silver necklaces and wore silver hoops.
