The Ghostbusters are back with us! Sony has revealed the title of its highly anticipated 2021 sequel Ghostbusters: Afterlife, and released the first teaser starring Paul Rudd.
The sequel ‘Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire’ follows the Spengler family in New York when a dark force called ‘The Death Chill’ is unleashed on the hottest day of the summer.
The family must join forces with the original Ghostbusters team, Peter Venkman (Bill Murray), Ray Stanz (Dan Aykroyd) and Winston Zendemore (Ernie Hudson) to face the new ghost that threatens to give birth to the second Ice age.
The cast is completed by, among others, Patton Oswalt, Kumail Nanjiani and Emily Alyn Lind.
Gil Kenan (Gil Kenan) signs the direction and wrote the script together with Jason Reitman (Jason Reitman) who has undertaken part of the production.
