New moans from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry – “Charles didn’t invite us to his birthday”

It’s been years since Meghan Markle and Prince Harry decided to leave royal duties and Buckingham and move to the US. However, they continue to clash and deal with the British palace, which always attracts media attention.

This time a representative of the couple told the British newspaper Daily Mail that King Charles has not invited them to the party to celebrate his 75th birthday on November 14. The representative denied the Sunday Times report, which reported that Prince Harry turned down an invitation to attend his father’s birthday party.

“There has been no contact regarding an invitation to Her Majesty’s upcoming birthday. It is disappointing that the Sunday Times has misreported this story.” said a spokesman for the Sussexes.

A source close to the couple said that not only were they not invited but they didn’t even know there was going to be a birthday party until the day they read about it in the papers.

“They had not received any invitation and were unaware that any celebration would take place until the reports came out.” the source noted. He even added that normally the Sussexes would normally have been included in plans for major events, despite the widening gap between them and the rest of the royal family.

“In this case, they haven’t (ss included) and that’s fine. I’m sure the duke will find a way to reach out privately to wish Her Majesty a happy birthday as he always did.” the same source said.

A friend of the couple noted that the British palace is likely to be behind the “leak” to the Sunday Times and the information that Prince Harry snubbed his father’s birthday. The reason, as explained by the same source, may be an attempt by the palace to change the agenda of the discussion from King Charles’ recent trip to Kenya, which did not go well.
