Closing the first season of Archetypes, Meghan Markle said goodbye to the listeners with a verse from a poem by Dinos Christianopoulos.

“And what didn’t you do to bury me? But you forgot how I was a seed.” It’s a verse by the Greek poet Dinos Christianopoulos, which the Duchess of Sussex used to make a pointed comment at the end of her Spotify podcast.

“A long time ago, I heard a phrase that I’m going to share with you today,” Meghan Markle said, explaining the phrase she chose.

“Because we’re talking about labels and boxes that they might try to put you in as well as roles or stereotypes that are given to you that don’t quite fit the person that you are, that’s the line I wanted to leave you with,” he said of his verse Dino Christianopoulos. He added: “Keep improving my friend and I’ll see you on the other side. As always, I’m Megan.”

Entitled ‘Man-ifesting a Cultural Shift’, Meghan Markle’s latest podcast was surprisingly the first to include men and discuss the stereotypes that have long plagued women.

Inviting male voices to the podcast at Prince Harry’s request, Hollywood heavyweights such as Trevor Noah, Judd Apatow and Andy Cohen discussed with the Duchess of Sussex “the labels that hold women back and how men in the media can influence the wider cultural conversation,” according to People magazine.

As for the future of the Archetypes podcast, fans are fervently hoping for a second season that has yet to be confirmed, although Meghan Markle has indicated that the platform has been positive.
