The British were scared with Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron – In London for the funeral, wearing sports shoes

Emmanuel and Brigitte Macron are in Paris to pay tribute to the 70-year-old Queen of Britain.

The French presidential couple have been in London since today, on the one hand, to attend the big reception of King Charles tonight with over 1000 VIPs, on the other hand, of course, to attend tomorrow, like dozens of other foreign leaders, the funeral of Queen Elizabeth. Earlier today, along with the Bidens, Spain’s royal couple and other leaders, the Macrons were in the Westminster Hall where Queen Elizabeth’s body has been laid for public pilgrimage from Wednesday night until tomorrow morning.

Macron, like the other leaders, did not have to wait in line, of course they were given priority and found themselves inside the Westminster Hall to pray for the Queen, pay their respects and say goodbye to the woman who led the United Kingdom for 70 years. They were both properly dressed in black formal attire.

However, an appearance in London in the afternoon shocked the British, who thought it was the moment when the French presidential couple went to pay their respects to the Queen’s body.

Macron Confused and Scared Brits, They Thought They Were Going to Queen Elizabeth’s Body

The Macrons appeared dressed rather more fashionably than Britons will tolerate these days, wearing trainers. The French President wore gray pants, a blue jacket, and a scarf around his neck, with sneakers and black glasses. Brigitte Macron’s outfit is similar.

Their appearance was described as irreverent to say the least, considering they were going to pay homage to Elizabeth at Westminster. The Daily Mail notes in the headline that the Macrons went to Westminster in sportswear, while a tweet in French is indicative:
“Black glasses and sneakers. And why aren’t they jogging? How disrespectful.”

But things turned out to be somewhat different. Macron would hardly make such a faux pas.

Biden, Felipe, Letitia, and other leaders who were also in Westminster in official dress, to honor Queen Elizabeth.

A little while later, the Macrons, at 8 o’clock Greek time, arrived in Buckingham, for the reception of the century, the reception of King Charles to 1,000 high-ranking guests, naturally wearing official clothes, a black suit Macron and the First Lady of France a black funeral dress.
