Thousands of fruits of love for Earth Day from Vikos natural mineral water

The first Earth Day in 1970 in America mobilized millions of citizens from all walks of life to give birth to the modern environmental movement. Since then, this day, celebrated every year on April 22, activates billions of people in 192 countries to protect our planet and fight for a better future.

Our environmental heritage calls on individuals, businesses, and governments to join hands to protect our common home planet. There are dozens of ways to change the world for the better, and the Continental Bottling Industry with natural mineral water Vikos sets an example, honoring Earth Day again this year with a tree planting in collaboration with the non-profit environmental organization we4alloffering 1,000 fruit trees (olives) in northern Evia as well as 1,000 more in Mani, to communities affected by devastating fires.

The company in collaboration with we4all, by donating 2,000 fruit trees, aims to restore not only the greenery of nature, but also part of the livelihood production and income that the residents lost, due to the disasters suffered by their areas.

This is another one of the company’s actions that aim to express gratitude for the planet and the goods it offers us, which we hope to enjoy in the future and the next generations. But it is not her only initiative. Since 1996 and until now, with her contribution, more than 15,000 trees have been planted with the aim of regenerating the landscape.
