They finished on positive ground euro marketsboosted by encouraging third quarter corporate results.
The European stock markets were painted “green” for the second day, after the pressures they received at the beginning of the week.
In particular, the pan-European index Stoxx 600 closed with gains of 0.84% at 447 points.
As for the individual indices, in London the FTSE 100 strengthened by 0.73% to 7,455 units, while o CAC 40 in Frankfurt recorded a “jump” of 1.14% reaching 7,114 units and the DAX in Frankfurt it was 0.77% higher at 15,347 units.
At the same time, the Italian FTSE MIB gained 0.8% to 28,660 units, with the Spanish IBEX 35 to gain 1.33% closing at 9,407 units.
Investor sentiment was supported by the latest round of results announced by companies today.
In this context, its share AstraZeneca write down rally 2.6%as the company’s Q3 figures exceeded analysts’ expectations, while it also upgraded its forecasts for annual profits.
At the same time, Deutsche Telekom and the Henkel they upgraded the guidance, sending positive messages to the markets.
