Her signature agreement for inclusion of the Patmos Aktis Suites & Spa hotel in The Luxury Collection brand announced the Marriott International, Inc after extensive renovation of the hotel. Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Greece is expected to open in the summer of 2024, and will be the only luxury resort on the island of Patmos.
Inspired by the island’s rich heritage, the Patmos Aktis, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa, Greece is designed to offer a calm environment and a relaxing atmosphere in one of the most beautiful bays of the island, the Greek.
The renovation project undertaken by the architectural offices Stylianidis Vaggelis Architects and Anastassiadis Architecture & Design includes the 56 rooms, suites and villas, the construction of additional rooms in 2025, and the creation of a modern restaurant serving local cuisine with a modern approach and a bar on the terrace with a magnificent view of the bay. The culinary inspiration for the Plefsis Taverna traditional Greek taverna on the beach, draws on authentic Dodecanese cuisine and the enchanting seaside scenery.
The renovated Spa of the hotel is expected to offer rejuvenation and wellness treatments specially designed to detoxify and relax the body and mind, reflecting the spiritual energy of the island. Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind relaxation experience that includes a rose petal-flavored welcome infusion, as well as Tibetan bell-sounding sessions combined with a range of rose-based beauty treatments.
The interior decoration which is under her supervision Patricia Anastasiadis, combines the authentic and luxurious experiential standards of The Luxury Collection brand with the essential simplicity that characterizes Patmos Aktis. A soft color palette that includes shades and tones of beige, white and blue is planned to be incorporated throughout the resort. Local works and traditional Greek touches of art will play an important role in the space, promoting the local character, the heritage of the island and its beautiful, special natural environment.
