“After 10 years of common journey and the birth of our two children, ehwe are in the unpleasant position of announcing the dissolution of our marriage.
Our children are what will unite us forever and as loving parents, we will always be by their side with boundless love. Their mental balance is our priority in this new chapter of our lives and we ask for your understanding in order to ensure the privacy of our children and protect them from undue publicity and attention.
For this reason, we strongly advise the media to handle this situation with sensitivity and respect and to avoid publishing or republishing related newswith the aim of protecting their mental well-being and the smooth transition of our children to this new reality.

It is noted that at the beginning of March 2024, there were various rumors that spoke of a divorce of the couple. At that time, Athina Oikonomakou had responded to her statements on the “Breakfast SuSu” show, saying:

In February 2023, in an interview she gave to the show, Athina Oikonomakou admitted that they had gone through a crisis in their marriage.
