THE Keanu Reeves claims to be married… by mistake to Winona Ryder 30 years ago. It seems a bit far-fetched, as you’d expect him to know he was married to someone, but the actor has an explanation.
In the 1992 film Dracula directed by Francis Ford Coppola, in which the two actors starred, in one scene the two get married, with the only problem being that it was a normal ceremony.

THE Keanu Reeves plays Jonathan Harker, an estate agent who travels to Dracula’s castle in the Carpathian Mountains to help him buy an estate in London.
Winona Ryder plays Mina Murray, Jonathan’s fiancee at the beginning of the story. The couple marry after Jonathan escapes Dracula’s castle and recuperates in a monastery.
The scene was staged with a real Orthodox priest performing the wedding.
Speaking to Esquire, Keanu Reeves, according to unilad.com, stated: “We did a whole shoot of a wedding ceremony with real priests. Winona says we are. Coppola says we are. So I guess we’re married in God’s eyes.”
In an interview with her Winona Ryder had argued: “We actually got married in Dracula. No, I swear to God, I think we’re married in real life. In that scene, Francis used a real Romanian priest. We shot the master and he performed the entire ceremony. So, I think we’re married.”
