Kim Kardashian is a coffee lover, but it seems she has a strange demand from the assistants who bring her coffee every day.
The 42-year-old TV personality and entrepreneur spoke on ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live!’ and he admitted that he has a special habit, like a quirk. Specifically, she said she has to remove the paper protector from her coffee cup before even thinking about touching it.
“Do you have someone take the Starbucks protector off your coffee because you hate the sound of cardboard?” host Jimmy Kimmel asked Kim Kardashian, referring to rumors he’s read about her online.
“Yeah, it’s true, and I hate the feel of it, the sound of it,” Kardashian said, adding that “whoever” is with her will remove the paper ring while she’s not looking.
“I can’t see it happening or I can’t hear it and I can’t feel it,” he explained. “The cardboard coming away from the cup is like nails on a chalkboard to me.”
Various paparazzi photos, however, show the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star successfully holding Starbucks cups with cardboard protectors.
Kim Kardashian on her feud with Taylor Swift
The reality star’s interview happened to be the first since Taylor Swift released her new album, “The Tortured Poets Department,” in which she reignited her nearly 10-year feud with Kardashian on two songs: “thank you aIMee” and “Cassandra”.
“Life is good,” Kardashian told the host, seemingly shrugging off any controversy that has resurfaced from the pop star.
Kimmel chose not to focus on the beef between the two women, leaving viewers unhappy.
Despite losing more than 100,000 followers since the release of Swift’s new album, Kim seemed unfazed on the show. She opted for a black dress and heels, with her long brunette hair styled in effortless waves.
