“The market thought that my good behavior was a weakness,” says Andreas Mikroutsikos and reveals that there were channels in his career that wanted to expel him “because of his behavior”.

On the occasion of his participation in the TV Queen show, Andreas Mikroutsikos spoke to OK magazine and referred to the time when suggestions were made to expel him from ANT1 but this did not happen thanks to Tzonis Kalimeris.

Did your space love you or envy you more?

When they saw me being a battering ram of all the channels I worked with, they wanted to be good neighbors with me. They saw that I never exercised authority. Even when Kontominas married me – many times he called me and I said “I have work”. I had my own problem, I was not the Andreas of the conflict.

I have opened my arms and recommended many people to work. I got the fewest “thanks” out of everyone. When I die I will get most of them. I am so tender with my partners, I give opportunities. Without ever doing yards.

The market thought my politeness was a weakness. But whoever went to take advantage of it saw what a strong personality I possess.

Have you had a big fight with a channel master?

No, but I know channels that wanted to kick me because of behavior. Back in the ‘Smile is contagious’ era at Mega they were really annoyed but they didn’t kick me out because I was the tip of the spear.

Papadakis had the idea to catch me and tie me up so I couldn’t go on my show and I agreed. I went to the opposite broadcast of ANT1, there was a cross-channel connection for a few minutes, then I disconnected and went to do my own.

The other day we had 45% and ANT1 18%. Proposals were then made to expel me. I was not kicked out because of the persistence of Johnis Kalimeris.
