O singer and actor Ricky Martin was with his two grown sons in Japan, on a leisure trip that follows the successful run of the series in which he stars and is titled Palm Royale.
The Puerto Rican actor, together with his fifteen-year-old sons Valentino and Matteo, was in Tokyo and posted on Instagram their joint photos from their Japanese adventures.
The twin boys have grown up a lot, as we can see in the photos, and the 52-year-old star maintains a great relationship with them, even after splitting with longtime partner and later husband Jwan Yosef. Together with Yosef, Martin has a now five-year-old daughter, Lucia, and a four-year-old son, Renn.
Martin captioned his photo that the family is hungry and looking for food in the streets of Tokyo. Finally the three of them ended up in one japanese barbecue, where Ricky Martin posed for his own lens wearing a pair of glasses and a special protective towel, so as not to get dirty.
His children seem to keep things low-key and according to Martin they are his main judges in whatever he does.
“They are very honest. They have no filters,” the actor pointed out in a recent interview with the Today Show and Craig Melvin. The two boys have been very supportive of his recent career move, the Apple TV+ series where he plays a Korean War veteran who works at a Florida country club for a living. In fact, the twins also attended the premiere of the series, as Martin wants his children to be in substantial contact with everything that happens in the world of publicity.
According to the proud father, Matteo is very interested in the arts, while Valentino has his sights set on going professional on YouTube. Martin is determined to in turn support the children on the way to claim their goals, just as his own father did when he was just 12 years old and told him he wanted to be an artist.
