Covered by a large veil of African dust, Athens woke up today, as did many areas of the country. The horizon has disappeared and a dense cloud of dust has taken its place.

At the same time, the images we saw on Tuesday (23/04) in Attica were taken from a science fiction film, with the sky being orange, due to the transport of African dust from the Sahara to our country.

On Wednesday morning (24/04) however, Theofania Papathoma made a controversial post about African dust, writing on Instagram: “THEY’RE KILLING US! And while you dream, fight and struggle to make your dreams come true, some people try to kill you with chemicals every day. It’s not African dust. Tell us how to clean the heavy metals that spray us, from the body!”.

We remind you that yesterday and Grigoris Petrakosafter uploading a photo of the Acropolis suffocated by African dust, wrote characteristically: “It’s terrible, people who live 50, 60, 70 years in Athens and have never seen such a sky, are convinced that what they see is because it blew It’s as if it had never happened before. Tell me that a bat bit a Chinese man and we had to be locked up in shelters for 3 years for a deadly virus that you have to take a test for.
