Today (23/4) Pyrros Dimas was a guest on Faia Skorda’s show. During the interview, the Olympian also answered for the first time about the change of surname of his daughter, Maria, who now uses her mother’s surname.
Specifically, Pyrros Dimas clarified: “My daughter didn’t change her last name now. Since she lost her mom, she changed her last name as well. Then she also did weightlifting and because there were some comments from some foreigners that she will become like her dad and become an Olympian…”.

He further stated that: “I made a statement at one point and some clever people grabbed my statement, looked up my children and found that Maria has changed her last name. I had said that when I met Aphrodite, at first my children did not like this whole story.
