Katerina Papoutsaki gave an interview on the show “Fay’s Time”. The well-known actress spoke, among other things, about the harsh criticism she has received from time to time, her life as a divorced mother with two children, but also the rumors that they wanted her in relation to Theodoris Marantini.
“I was afraid of live because it’s completely different to sing behind a stage of a show than to go up front alone. There is still doubt in my face. When I sang with the orchestra of Mikis Theodorakis, I received infinite criticism. What someone thinks is secondary in my life, if they need my presence in the song. If you don’t need it, it will show, and if you don’t like it, don’t come,” initially said Katerina Papoutsaki.
The actress then addressed her divorce: “In my life, as a divorced mother with 2 children, everything is a… tetris. It is bad to write and say things that are not true. But because I have eaten too much of it and because indeed in recent years, and especially in the matter of divorce, the media handled it with respect, I can’t say anything.”
Regarding the rumors that wanted her in relation to Thodoris Marantini, Katerina Papoutsaki emphasized: “Something was said that was completely inappropriate, it saddened me because it was completely inappropriate. And if they were, it would be really hard to handle. At the moment I’m fine, but I’m in a phase that I can’t say is the easiest of my life, but I’m fighting it.”
