The field of acting lost another talented and modest actor as Kostas Stefanakis passed away at the age of 76. The sad event was made known by the President of SEH, Spyros Bibilas with a post on his personal Instagram account.
“A colleague of ours left today… We say goodbye to Kostas Stefanakis, born in 1948, a quiet actor who performed dozens of characteristic roles in Greek cinema and in the early years of television where I was lucky enough to work with him and meet a kind man who played usually tough roles. Have a nice trip our dear friend and sincere condolences to your family” wrote Spyros Bibilas.
Kostas Stefanakis had taken part in several films and series during his professional career, such as: “The Amusement Park Girl”, “Isaiah Don’t Dance”, “THB Bald Agent”, “The Little Man”, “The Teacher with the blond hair”, “And the first eye-catcher”, “The Third Crown”, “The chaplain of the window”, “The Pantheons”, “Antheon Street”, “Maria the Ugly”, “Jugerman” etc.
