Millions of people around the world celebrate Earth Day every year on April 22. It is a global institution that has been celebrated since 1970 and aims to highlight the importance of environmental protection.

The institution was inspired by activist John McConnell in 1969 at a UNESCO Conference in San Francisco, and the first events in several US states began on March 21 of the same year.

Since then, several celebrities have been trying to raise public awareness about Earth Day with their speeches. In fact, yesterday several people published videos and photos on social media to show their followers the importance of protecting the planet at a time when climate change imposes the need to help the environment.
