Famous French singer and winner of “The Voice” shot in the chest

Popular singer Kendji Girac and winner of The Voice has been seriously injured after being shot in the chest during a terrifying attack in France.

The 27-year-old singer Girac, won the The Voice France in 2014 and has collaborated with musical icons such as Mika in his brilliant ten-year pop career.

The singer was rushed to the University Hospital of Bordeaux, while as the international media write, he was conscious during transport.

However, the treating doctors judged that the health condition of the young artist is “serious”.

So far, it is not known if Zirac was the target of the attack.

The young man was returning from a camp in Biscarrosse when he was wounded by a gunman in the early hours of Monday (22.04.2024).

A source close to a French media outlet said: “He was in a camp when he was injured by a firearm. Officers were alerted at around 5.30am. and when they arrived they were confronted by about 20 people who refused to share any information. Meanwhile, emergency services removed a seriously injured man who had been shot in the chest and was rushed to hospital.”

The prosecutor of Mont-de-Marshon, Olivier Janson, said that all possibilities are open.

Girac was done famous in 2013, When the his uncle uploaded a YouTube video of him covering a popular French song called, Bella.

It quickly went viral and earned Girac a spot on France’s The Voice.

Girac continued to dominate in the third year and eventually took victory with more than 51% of the final vote.

It has since been released five hit albums and has performed with some of the biggest stars of French music, such as Vianney and Florent Pagny.
