The CFDA Fashion Awards 2023 gala went down in glitz and glam in New York last night, with the big stars walking the red carpet to impress. Among them Kim Kardashian and Gwyneth Paltrow.
These awards are also called the “Oscars of fashion” and are considered very important, while the glittering event was sponsored by Amazon Fashion for the second consecutive year.

The red carpet was impressive and glamorous with the high-profile guests giving their best by making statements, appearances, some eccentric, some sexier and some true to fashion trends.
Kim Kardashian, Demi Moore, Anne Hathaway, Gwyneth Paltrow and Serena Williams led the glam looks at the CFDA Fashion Awards, stealing the show.
Anne Hathaway hosted the evening while Serena Williams made history by receiving the Fashion Icon award, a first for an athlete.

Anne Hathaway did a denim look by Ralph Lauren, with strapless denim corset and maxi skirt with tie-dye effect. She opted for stunning jewelery while wearing her hair down.

Kim Kardashian, Gwyneth Paltrow, who was the best dressed of the night?
Kim Kardashian opted for a sexy black fitted Chrome Hearts dress with an open back. The halterneck, leather dress had crosses like a design, giving off gothic vibes. She had her hair up in a high, messy bun, giving off 90s vibes and Pamela Anderson.
Gwyneth Paltrow was the definition of understated elegance. She chose a black turtleneck bodysuit which she perfectly combined with a maxi black skirt with a slit from her own brand G. Label by Goop.

In fact, in a rare moment the two stars appeared with a clothing choice that had common elements (the color and the silhouette) but a completely different style. Who won? The simplicity of the actress made her whole look unbeatable.
Demi Moore chose a sparkly, strapless Carolina Herrera dress with sequins and sandals.

Serena Williams, as the evening’s honoree, chose a dramatic black Thom Browne gown with huge, puffy sleeves, a train and sequins.
Emily Ratajkowski chose a Tory Burch cream mini dress and mules in the same color.
