The payment of the special Easter Gift will be made exclusively through banks, by crediting the bank accounts of the insured, according to an announcement by EFKA.
Builders who have not declared their bank account details can declare them exclusively online, either on the e-EFKA website (option-> Electronic Services -> Employees -> Personal Details), or through corresponding options in the single digital public administration portal (www.gov.gr).
Easter gift: What is a “coupon”
Due to the nature of the profession of builders (frequent change of employers and place of employment), with the provisions of articles 1, 2, 3 and 4 of Law 4321/63, as they apply after their amendment by the provisions of Law 4469/65, was set up in the IKA-ETAM “Special Gift and Vacation Allowances Account for Craftsman Builders” (ELDEO) for the granting of holiday gifts and vacation allowances to the insured in accordance with the provisions of the Builders’ Insurance Regulation.
The source of the account is the employer’s contribution, equal to 25% of the wages on which the insurance contributions in favor of the e-EFKA are calculated, which is contributed by the e-EFKA together with the insurance contributions that are proportionate to it.
The insured’s right to collect the Ticket from e-EFKA requires employment and insurance in accordance with the provisions of the Builders’ Insurance Regulation and expires after five (5) years from the first of the following year of the issuance of the payment order (N 4321/63 , N 4469/65, articles 250 & 253 of the Civil Code).
The license fee is paid exclusively through banks, by crediting the bank accounts of the insured.
Builders, who have not declared bank account details, must declare them exclusively online, either on the e-EFKA website www.efka.gov.gr (selection-> Electronic Services->Employees ->Personal Details), or through corresponding options on the single digital portal of the public administration (www.gov.gr).
The Gratuity is paid three times a year:
- For employment from SEPTEMBER to DECEMBER as the First Quarter at Easter
- For employment from JANUARY to APRIL as Second Quarter in August
- For employment from MAY to AUGUST until the 3rd Quarter at Christmas
The insured receives as a Gratuity the amount paid by the employer after deducting the labor contribution.
The employer’s contribution for ELDEO amounts to 25% of the gross wages paid to the insured. The insured person receives as Gratuity the amount paid by the employer, after deducting the labor contribution (17.32%, as it applies today).
e.g. Gross earnings 100 euros X 25% = 25 euros is paid by the employer to the e-EFKA for ELDEO, 25 euros – 4.33 euros (17.32%) = 20.67 euros is received by the insured as a Free Stamp.
The start of calculation flows for each Permit stamp is carried out one (1) month before the date of payment of the amounts to the beneficiary builders via DIAS.
Therefore, in the event that the beneficiary does not declare the IBAN number in time, i.e. declares it after the start date of the calculation flows of each License, the entitled amount will be paid to you in the immediately following Quarter.
In the event that you declared the IBAN number on time, but there is a problem with crediting your bank account, you should contact the competent Local e-EFKA Directorate of your place of residence.
