From May 1, the intervention for the payment of traffic feesas announced by the Deputy Minister of Finance, Haris Theocharis.
About the opening of the platform TaxisNet for filing tax returns, the new measure for traffic fees with the month but also the POS interface of businesses with their cash registers, the Deputy Minister of Finance, Haris Theoharis, spoke in today’s (25/04) interview to ERT.
“What we are doing this year is extending a hand of trust to accountants and the taxpayers who make the statements themselves. Because this year we had to legislate the automatic submission on behalf of the taxpayer and that took some days.
We give these in advance in July and in this way, we acknowledge our obligations and expect the accountants and the taxpayers to act accordingly, because there will be no further extension. So, the last day will be 25the July. On the 31stthe July is the deadline for the payment of the first installment and for eight installments until February”, Mr. Theoharis initially noted.
“Anyone who disputes the presumptive income must justify their lifestyle,” added Deputy Minister of Finance.
“From 1the May, traffic fees are activated with the month”
“We’ll bring one regulation to enable the monthly toll payment process that people have been waiting for. Nothing changes with fines. If someone moves their car and it is declared as immovable, the fine is €10,000″, he further informed. “In the coming days, we are legislating it reduction of supplies for all of them transactions up to €10 so that there is a ceiling”, added Mr. Theocharis.
Commenting on the serious incident that took place yesterday (24/04) in the Parliament, with the former MP of the Spartans, Konstantinos Floros, punching the MP of the Hellenic Solution, Vassilis Grammenos, he pointed out that “what happened is outside the climate of society, a vulgarity. These people only care about hurting the Republic. So, we have to think again about which parties we put in the Parliament and which people we will send to the European Parliament”.
