Alexis Kougias was a guest of Elena Papavasileiou, in the new episode of the show “EQ” from the Action 24 channel.
In an all-out conversation with Elena Papavasiliou on Action 24, Alexis Kougias went back several years when he was playing football, revealing how he was saved from a car accident thanks to a relative of the presenter.
More specifically, Alexis Kougias initially admitted that “with my first money from football, a lot of money, I bought a motorcycle and unfortunately I broke it. If you are from St. Petersburg, you will get a motorcycle. So I took a motorbike and went to marry the groom in Loutraki, where I played ball, and in Xylokastro, which was Mykonos at the time. There were no ships and planes to Mykonos at that time.”
“The center of secular Athens for the summers was Loutraki which was nearby and Xylokastro which was further away. So I took the machine, beautiful boy and made the groom with the machine. A trucker fell asleep, went into the opposite stream and I will even say the following. He who saved me, as you told me, was a relative of yours.’
“Yes, my grandfather’s brother. My uncle”, answered Elena Papavasileiou, visibly moved, with her guest commenting that “he left too early from what I found out, at a very young age”.
“Unfortunately, he left early, he was an amazing doctor,” commented Elena Papavasileiou, with Alexis Kougia remembering that “he saved me, 19 months in KAT. 2nd Clinic of the KAT, ward of 20 people with amputated arms, legs, eyes, whatever. That’s why I sometimes say that what happened to me developed the personality of Kuya, who is not an ordinary lawyer.”
