Which codes does AADE pre-populate for taxpayers

This year’s start of the period for submitting tax returns “inaugurates” the new method of completing them, as taxpayers will not have to nor to “deal” with a series of codes which will be pre-populated.

So, in 1,000,000 tax returns of employees and pensionerstaxpayers who open the application will find the following codes pre-filled by AADE:

• 2023 salary and pension income in table 4A.
• Withholding taxes again in table 4A.
• Deposit interest in table 4D1.
• Interest taxes again table 4D1.
• Property details in table 5.
• Vehicles and assets in table 5.
• Private school fees. Amounts paid in 2023 for private school tuition will also be pre-paid.
• Repayment of loans in table 5.2.
• Consumer expenditure in table 7 and codes 049-050.
• Items in table 6 such as mortgage and consumer loan amounts, income amounts that are either self-taxed or tax-exempt, such as child benefits, salary-disability pensions, interest on bonds or interest-bearing promissory notes.
