OPECA: Those who did not submit the application for the child benefit A21 until March 11, when the platform was temporarily closed, they were not paid the first installment.
On Friday 29 March, the first installment was paid for the A21 child benefit, which concerns approximately 800,000 families. A condition for the beneficiaries to receive the aid is the attendance of the dependent children in compulsory education (from pre-kindergarten to high school), as well as the adequacy of attendance.

Those who did not apply for A21 child benefit by March 11, when the platform was temporarily closed, were not paid the first installment. However, the money will not be lost as the beneficiaries will get it retroactively when they apply after the re-opening of the platform for A21 applications.
The payment of the second installment of child benefit is expected to take place on Friday 31 May 2024.
Subsequently:
* The third installment will be paid on Wednesday, July 31
* The fourth installment of the A21 Child Benefit will be paid on Monday 30 September
* The fifth installment will be credited to the accounts of the beneficiaries on Friday, November 29
* The sixth installment will traditionally be paid before Christmas, specifically between December 20 and 23
