New interest-free financing from Citroen – For which models it applies

In the diesel range there is only one choice the upgraded 4-cylinder 1.5 BlueHDi of 100 hp which is offered exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission. And in this case, the prospective buyer does not pay road tax.

It is offered with the same ideals but with a more family character the C3 Aircross which belongs to the category of B-SUVs. It offers top levels of space and practical transport solutions, distinguished by the comfort it offers but also by the elements of a larger category and price of cars it incorporates.

This version of the PureTech engine is mated exclusively to an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The diesel C4 X on the other hand, has the upgraded 1.5 BlueHDi of 130 hp available only with the automatic 8-speed gearbox, while the purely electric version e-C4 X has an electric motor with a performance of 136 hp and 260 Nmand is powered by a 50 kWh lithium-ion battery that ensures a range of 360 km.

End, the largest SUV in the rangethe C5 Aircross has options starting with the tried and tested 1.2-litre PureTech three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine, which produces 131bhp and 230Nm and is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox or an optional eight-speed automatic.

A recent addition is the mild hybrid version, based on the above 1,200 hp turbo petrol engine, which works with an electric motor with a performance of 28 hp and 55 Nm. The electric motor can drive the French SUV purely electrically (0.9 kWh battery), in mild driving conditions, while reducing fuel consumption and emissions.

For the diesel representation, the upgraded BlueHDi 1.5 liter diesel engine takes care of the French engine to characterized by its civilized operation and very low levels of consumption. It produces 131 hp and 300 Nm of torque, which make their appearance at just 1,750 rpm. and suit the nature of the 8-speed automatic transmission.

At the top of the C5 Aircross’ powertrain range is the advanced plug-in hybrid package, which consists of a 1.6 liter 180hp turbo petrol engine and a powerful 110hp electric motor. The combined performance of the system reaches 225 hp and in addition to dynamic performance, it also offers the possibility of purely electric movement for up to 64 km with one charge of the 14.2 kWh battery pack.

The PHEV C5 Aircross is also available in a second, less powerful version in terms of power, which reaches 180 hp. Here the performance of the turbocharged 1.6-liter engine is 150 hp and that of the electric motor remains unchanged at 110 hp.

The slightly smaller 12.4 kWh battery offers an electric range of up to 54 km.while, as with the more powerful plug-in C5 Aircross, the driver can move electrically at speeds of up to 135 km/h.
