Scenes of horror unfolded in Turkey when the waves furiously hit a ferry boat, resulting in significant material damage to the vehicles being transported on the Yalova line to Marmaras.

In the last few hours, the wave of bad weather that affected our country has moved to Turkey, causing heavy rains in several areas of mainland Greece.

One of the characteristics of the bad weather that moves east is the stormy winds, which caused serious problems in Turkey’s coastal shipping connections.

The wrath of the bad weather was experienced first hand by the passengers of a ferry boat in Yalova, Marmara, when it was hit by waves resulting in many of the vehicles it transported to suffer serious material damage.

The video and images from inside the ferry boat testify to the moments of terror experienced by the passengers, who they saw within seconds that their vehicles were distorted by the huge amounts of water that hit them during the rough seas.

The vehicles that were fully exposed to the fury of the waves suffered the greatest damage, while almost to passengers who were in the parking lot at the time were also swept away, leaving their cars in fear.

Fortunately for everyone, the ferry boat managed to reach its destination without serious injuries, but without avoiding serious material damage to the vehicles it was transporting.
