How electricity will be subsidized, the beneficiaries and the schedule
It is worth noting that last year, the government gave significant incentives, with a double heating allowance to those who would choose oil instead of natural gas as fuel. However, this year the conditions have changed and the price of natural gas is not at 350 euros per megawatt hour, but at 50 euros and therefore there is absolutely no reason to repeat the same project.
Of course, prices in the energy sector are particularly high and there is a fear that the picture will get worse in the event that the situation in the Middle East worsens.
More specifically, the price for natural gas is around 50 euros per megawatt hour, while before the outbreak of the energy crisis it was around 15 euros.
The international price of oil is in the region of 90 dollars per barrel, about 10 dollars higher than the levels that were before October 7, when the crisis broke out in the Middle East.
