The deal is worth close to €200 million and now creates a large and powerful player in the construction market with a backlog of €4.5 billion.
The new “giant” in the field of construction will have a large portfolio of projects, as Aktor is present in all the large projects that have been announced. In this way, the recent statements of Intrakat’s CEO, Alexandros Exarchos, when Intrakat was acquired, are fully confirmed, that the goal is to create the largest player in construction. At the same time, this is another move by the scheme of Mr. D. Baku, G. Kaymenaki and A. Exarchou, which shows that they are investing steadily in our country and give a vote of confidence in the prospects of the Greek economy.
It is recalled that two days ago Liberal wrote about the discussions between Aktor and Intrakat, while yesterday the companies issued relevant announcements following a question from the Capital Market Commission. Intrakat had submitted a non-binding offer for Aktor and apparently the deal between the two sides was closed quickly.

Intrakat’s financial figures
With a strong backlog of new contracts of over 1.2 billion euros, the group is leaving a strong legacy for the future, while it is clear that Intrakat has changed the page.
During the nine months of 2022 the Intrakat group recorded an increase in revenue, as sales amounted to €148.3 million compared to €140.3 million in the corresponding period of 2021. The Group’s EBITDA was formed at a loss of €-3.3 million. against a loss of €-3.1 million and the EBIT at a loss of €-7.47 million against a loss of €-6.77 million in the corresponding period of 2021.
Especially for the third quarter of 2022, the group’s sales amounted to €45.2 million compared to €53.3 million in the corresponding period of 2021, EBITDA in profits of €5.23 million compared to profits of €2.66 million. and EBIT in profits of €3.99m compared to profits of €1.47m in the corresponding quarter of 2021.
The group’s bank borrowing on 30.09.2022 amounted to €132.8 million compared to €141.1 million on 31.12.2021. The above borrowing includes loans amounting to €41.8 million which have been taken to finance investments, specifically €37.6 million in Wind Energy and €4.3 million in Real Estate. The new project contracts signed by the group in the first nine months of 2022 amount to €406.4 million. The outstanding balance of the group’s contracts on 30.09.2022 amounted to €1.2 billion.
