THE Sivert Hoyem returns to Greece for two club shows that we have missed him so much. Young audiences make movie theater appointments for Greek psychological thriller “Do not open the door”while book lovers are getting ready for the big one Book Walk. Vinyl lovers will look for their favorite music at Vinyl Market in the Technopolis of the Municipality of Athens.

Sivert Hoyem, Floyd and Principal Club Theater

THE Sivert Hoyemcomes to his beloved Greece only for two nightsfor two concerts that promise to be among the most personal, the most intimate, the warmest of recent years.

After 8 whole years – that’s how much has passed since Sivert Hoyem’s last appearances in club show in April 2016 – he comes together with his band, for two unique performances.

He brings with him the songs that his friends have loved over the years, Sleepwalking Man, Theaving Heart, Moon Landing, Give it a Whirltracks like the Aim For The Heart, Two Green Feathers from his last album, On an island which was released at the end of January and of course many Madrugada songs.

On Saturday, April 27 at the Floyd Live Music Venue in Athens and on Sunday, April 28 at the Principal Club Theater in Thessaloniki.

Glykeria, Glass Music Theatre

The performance “Oh my sweet ear and the songs of Spring” with the heartbreaking obituaries of the Virgin Mary as its central axis, will be presented by Glykeria on Holy Monday and Holy Tuesday, April 29 and 30 at the Glass Music Theatre.

In a particularly overwhelming atmosphere, Glykeria will perform hymns of Holy Week, Byzantine hymns and eulogies for the Divine and human passions as well as selected songs for Spring in a program curated by Stelios Fotiadis.

The excellent actor Leonidas Kakouris will read excerpts from the works of Greek poets and prose writers edited by Christos Promiras.

2nd Worship Music Festival

Palm Sunday 28, M. Monday 29, M. Tuesday 30 April 2024. Over 50 concerts in churches, museums, archaeological and concert venues. Artistic direction Giorgos Koumentakis. Free entry for the public.

The Ministry of Culture, the National Opera and Eurolife FFH present the 2nd Worship Music Festival, from Palm Sunday 28 April to Holy Tuesday 30 April 2024, in special, special and immersive spaces, such as the Garden of the Presidential Palace, the Dionysios Areopagitou, the Metropolis of Athens, the Anglican and Evangelical Churches, the Catholic Cathedral, the Fethiye Mosque, the Old Stock Exchange, the Acropolis Museum, the Museums of Newer Greek Culture and Goulandris, the halls of the Greek Orthodox Church in the SNFCC and Parnassos.

The Festival, under the artistic direction of George Koumentakis, will present a marathon of more than 50 concerts and artistic actions, approaching numerous and unexpected aspects of the relationship between religious worship and music.

Unboxholics’ first feature film is being distributed by Rosebud.

Far from civilization, in a frozen forest on an inhospitable mountainside, a group of researchers is attacked by an unidentified figure. Sole survivor, a young biologist who takes refuge in the isolated cabin of a mysterious man. Together, they will embark on a revelatory journey into the depths of the human soul.
